With the new Japanese restaurant on Mount Gütsch, award-winning chef Dietmar Sawyere (1 Michelin Star and 16 Gault Millau Points) has further refined the unique concept of The Japanese in what is Switzerland’s highest-altitude Japanese restaurant.
The menu is accordingly sophisticated, with the finest Japanese dishes like shidashi bentō, omakase, kaiseki, sushi and tempura prepared for you fresh at 2300m above sea level.
The Japanese by The Chedi Andermatt is a hotspot for hikers, skiers and gourmets, whom it invites to enjoy culinary highlights accompanied by views of Gotthard, the Oberalp Pass and the Ursern Valley.
