At Le Jardin de Berne*, chefs Louis Rameau and Eric Raynal seek the secret truth in every ingredient, creating new associations, novel flavor harmonies and amazing textures, while staying true to nature’s initial intent.

The two chefs aspire to unveil the potential of every ingredient, by imagining creative dishes with distinctive flavor combinations. Certain aromas, fragile and fleeting, are so subtle that they can almost be enjoyed on their own.

The Michelin-starred restaurant is committed to a locavore approach that favors fresh organic produce and herbs grown on the estate, as well as enduring relationships with local farmers and breeders. This spirit is expressed right down to the locally handmade plates, and the knives, crafted in the nearby town of Draguignan.

Jardin de Berne’s eco-conscious approach, received in 2021 the Michelin Green Star distinction, awarded for exemplary sustainable restaurant practices.
